He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ronald Erickson Sr. and Marion Rose Erickson (Stefani); his brother-in-law Ken Maki; and his nephew Danny Ranck. He is survived by: the mother of his children Kimberly Erickson; his siblings, Kim Maki of Houghton, MI, Beth Erickson (Gary Ziegler) of McFarland, WI and John Erickson (Nancy) of Ashburn, VA; his nieces and nephews, Jessica Guoin (Mike), Jennifer Sleeman (Tony), Elise Melo (Vico), Amanda Erickson (Joseph Hogan), Danya Sasada, Samantha Kane (Aaron), Jeffrey Maki (Ashley) and Robert Erickson; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jaiden, Riah Rose, Easton, Liam, Calem, Karma, Piper, Mason, Nico, Bronsyn and Aurora; his close friend Stephanie Donner; his friend Tim Harmon (Nancy); and also, Tyler Rose Erickson (Jonathan Longworth) of Durham, NC, Madison Erickson of Richmond, VA and Nick Donner (Emily).
