He is survived by: his wife Mary Sheppard; his children, Ashley Baynes (Frank) and James Sheppard; his grandson Colby Baynes; and his brothers, Jay Johnson (Connie), Danny Johnson (Patty), Jeff Sheppard (Janet) and Andy Sheppard (Nannette).
