She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Hunter, Sr. and Charlotte Bauer Hunter; her husband Robert Sydney Lay; her granddaughter Carman Joann Lay; and her sisters, Katherine Carson and Bertha Reynolds.
She is survived by: her children, Gary P. Lay and Tammi L. Lay; her grandchildren, Katherine Lay, Gianna Lay and Owen Lay; her son P. A.; and also Clifford Hunter, Jr..
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home (1493 Clayton St, Perryville, MD 21903). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Episcopal Church (175 St Marks Church Rd, Perryville, MD 21903).
