He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Spencer and Evelyn G. Spencer; and his siblings, Jonathan Spencer and Suzanne Spencer. He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Spencer of Delta and Brittany; his son-in-law Jacob Allen of Fallston; his grandchildren, Brielle, Brady and Mia; and his brother Christopher Spencer of Harper's Ferry. He is also survived by extended family in Connecticut and many close friends.
