He was predeceased by: his parents, Domenick Saponaro and Mary Calao Saponaro. He is survived by: his wife Dotty Saponaro; his daughters, Andrea Lattizori (John), Kristen Fleming-Wood (Nick) and Jennifer Lidums; his grandchildren, Brette Fleming-Wood, Mackenzie Haas (Tommy), Kyle Barkley, Cole Fleming-Wood, Simon Fleming-Wood, Gus Fleming-Wood, Jack Lattizori, Alexander Lidums and Domenick Lidums; his siblings, Donato Saponaro (Ruthie), Anthony Saponaro (Patsy) and Margherita Saponaro Coudon (Tom); and his siblings-in-law, Alan Conrad and Carole Conrad.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home (1493 Clayton St, Perryville, MD 21903). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church of Perryville (831 Aiken Ave, Perryville, MD 21903).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Good Shepherd Catholic Church or your favorite charity in Jim's name in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766.
