Cynthia Patricia Gonzalez Obituary

Cynthia Patricia Myrtle Dye Gonzalez entered into eternal life on July 6, 2022. Born to the late Arthur and Lillian Mary (Palmer) Dye in Wicken, Essex England, "Cyndy" is survived there by her beloved sister Sheila Parrish and by extended family both in the UK and USA. Cynthia was sister to the late Ena Young, Kathleen Brewer, Arthur Dye, George Dye Sr, Eileen Brush, Mona Lawrence, Dennis Dye, Godfrey Dye, Veronica Palmer, Peter Dye, and Monica Harvey. And as a wife and mother of four children, Cyndy was a resident of New York City for much of her adult life. She is also survived by her two daughters, Dr. Denise Marie Mari and Lillian Frances Gonzalez.

In lieu of flowers in Cynthia's memory, those who desire may send sympathy contributions for her daughter Professor Denise, Third Order Carmelite, to distribute --checks made payable only (in US Dollars) to life-long close friend and accounting assistant Mrs. "Elizabeth Grieco"--

“(Please see the "Photos" web page for the photo of the dove noted here.) The following is the Sacred Scripture that came to mind after looking at this dove --a dove who serenely landed today on the rental car I used going back & forth to Maryland where my mother died: 5 “Blessed are the men whose strength is in thee (i.e., the Lord), in whose heart are the highways to Zion. 6 As they go through the valley of Baca they make it a place of springs . . .” (Psalm 84: 5-6)”

“My mother was a very special woman who will live on forever in the hearts of family and others whose lives she touched. She was also blessed with fine brothers and sisters as well as her loyal friend Daphne Kew. I also want to express my deep gratitude and say thank you to those of you who made this very difficult time a little easier for me. My mom will hold a uniquely warm place in the hearts of those who knew her, and through our cherished memories she will live on forever.”
