He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben F., Sr. and Cora E. Mullis Caldwell; and his sister Anne Weitzel. He is survived by: his wife Joyce M. Caldwell; his sons, Michael A. Caldwell and Jeffrey W. Caldwell; his siblings, William Caldwell, Charlotte Nason and Joan Gatchell; and his sons, P. A., P. O. Box and Perryville, MD. He is also survived by five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
