She was predeceased by: her parents, Elisha Hunt and Bessie Strickland Hunt; her daughter-in-law Sherry Lynn Chilcote; and her siblings, Vertie, Regina, Rosey, Betty, Buddy, Tiny, Willie and Lee.
She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Lynn Chilcote (Dorette) of Summerville, SC; her grandchildren, Tiffany Lynn Doxanas (Tom) of Perry Hall, MD, Jeffrey Lynn Chilcote II of Summerville, SC, Camille Ann Snow (Carlton) of Summerville, SC, Eleanor Mae Chilcote of Summerville, SC and Griffin Hubert Chilcote of Summerville, SC; her great grandchildren, Cadence, Xander, Sedi, Grayson, Evelyn, Cora, Wells and Miley; her siblings, Edna Sampson of Lumberton, NC, Kathy Oxendine (Jimmy) of Fairmont, NC, Jack Hunt (Audrey) and Margaret Brown (Rex) of Jacksonville, FL; and her stepchildren, Tammy Cartee, Ivan Hyde and Karen Dennehy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home (3111 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122). A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery (11301 Robert S. Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623).
