He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin R Phelps and Ella Mae Phelps. He is survived by: his wife Nancy L. Phelps; his children, Michael R Phelps (Bonnie) and Laura Lee (Steven); his brother David M Phelps; and his grandchildren, Jaclyn, Matthew Phelps, Zachary, Cody Michaels and Camden Watts.
