He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sheffield and Marie Sheffield; and his brothers, George Sheffield and Melvin Sheffield. He is survived by: his wife Connie Sheffield; his sons, Ron Sheffield, Jr. (Liz) and Michael Sheffield (Tricia); his brother Roy Sheffield (Juggy); his grandchildren, Abigail Sheffield, Connor Sheffield, Garrett Sheffield, Taylor Byrd and Brandon Lauterbach; and his great grandchildren, Gracie and Maddie Byrd. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
