She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Powell and Ruth Uhl Powell; her husband John Kuittinen; and her granddaughter Emilia Claytor. She is survived by: her daughters, Lesley K. Reynolds of Abingdon and Ruth A. Claytor of Pasadena; her brother Richard Powell of Laurel; and her grandchildren, Kristin, Jessica Reynolds, Danielle and Charleigh Claytor.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home (421 Crain Hwy S, Glen Burnie, MD 21061). Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Memorial Park (2724 Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784).
