She was predeceased by: her husband Gregory Banister; her sons, Craig and Christopher Banister; her parents, Mary Stewart (Seebach) and Edward Stewart; and her sisters, Betty Miller and Jan Anderson.
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Sawyer; and her siblings, Lucille Wright and Edward Stewart. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake in her memory.
