He is survived by: his wife Sherry Colona Smith; his children, Stacey Smith-Benning (Darrin), Charlotte Simpson (Randy), Hope Kalb (Thomas) and Joe Brittingham Amanda (Jessica); his brother Ron Smith Sr. (Dale); his grandchildren, Kristie Reisler (Philip), DJ Benning (Nikki), Victor Simpson, Brooke Simpson, Austin Wassell (Madi), Victoria Wassell, Grayson Wassell, Lee Brittingham, Lincoln Brittingham, Ryann Olivia Frock, Reed Frock and Ramsey Sue Frock; his great grandchild Aengus Wassell; his nephews, Ron Smith, Jr. (Tammy) and Kevin Smith (Christine); his great-nephews, Mathew Smith, Brenden Smith and Ben Smith; and his sister-in-law Tanna Somers (Bruce).
