He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth Michael Schaeffer; his father William Lavern Schaeffer; and his grandmothers, Dolores Petersen and Mary R. Brooks. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Hollingsworth; his wife Barbara "Bobbie" Yvonne Schaeffer; his daughter Ashley Rose Schaeffer (Patrick Joseph Hackley); his aunt Nancy Harris; and his sisters, Janice Perry, Catherine Beckman and Rose Hubbard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home (3111 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at the Glen Haven Memorial Park (7231 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie, MD 21061).
