With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katherine Elaine Matthews (Pasadena, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Katherine's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Katherine has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parent Jesse; her husband John, Sr.; her son John, Jr.; and her son-in-law Daniel O'Brien. She is survived by: her children, Robert Matthews (Diane), Karen Bugg (Jim), Debra O-Brien, Linda Hill (David) and Daniel Matthews. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandson.
