He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Heleva Henninger Boyd and John Richard Henninger; his wife Margaret Elizabeth "Peggy" Henninger of Trenton; and his siblings, Marion Bryson, Joyce Arnold and George Boyd.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Henninger (John Cleveland), Drew Henninger (Carmen), Kari Steinbock (Craig) and Todd Henninger (Amy Maden); his grandchildren, Laura Cleveland, Jill Cleveland (Aaron Sachs) and Tyler Henninger (Kayla Henninger); his great grandchildren, Wesley Cleveland-Sachs and Harper Henninger; and his siblings, Creta Hillebrandt (Jim), Lois Derck (Dennis), Helene Shoffler (Ray Hinkle), Scarlett Lastoskie (Bill), Mary Carol Hess (Bob) and Jim Boyd (Sandy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Matthew's United Methodist Church (14900 Annapolis Rd, Bowie, MD 20715).
