She was predeceased by: her parents, Iver Dorsch and Alice Dorsch; her husband John Edward Marx Sr.; and her siblings, Albert Dorsch, Elizabeth Congdon, Helen Schluter, Clara Waugh and Doris Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Wolfe of Pasadena, Richard I Martel Jr. and Michael Martel (Suzanne); her stepchildren, John E. Marx Jr. (Tracy) and Teresa Willard (Kevin); and her brother-in-law Fred Schluter.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home (3111 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122). A memorial service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Chesapeake Church (8325 Ventnor Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122).
