He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl John Burg and Anna Margaret Burg; and his siblings, Anna Mary Furbee, Charles Pete Burg and James Burg.
He is survived by: his spouse Else Burg; his children, Mark William Burg (Susan), Matthew Carl Burg (Amy) and Cindy Hurst (Steven); his grandchildren, Courtney Burg, Jeremy Burg, Shane Hurst (Kassidey) and Zachary Hurst; and his great grandchild Lucas Hurst.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home (3111 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
