She was predeceased by: her husband James Somers, Sr.; her parents, William Meeks and Gertrude Meeks; and her siblings, Gordon, William, Richard, Donald and Janet.
She is survived by: her sister Irene; her children, Karen Tate (Keith), James Somers, Jr. (Jean), Diane Brennan and Robert Somers (Traci); her grandchildren, Zachary Tate, Eric Tate (Lauren), Katelyn Mazzochette (Mark), Bryan Somers, Jason Somers, Joshua Brennan, Andrew Brennan, Michael Brennan, Patrick Brennan, Reagan Somers and Noelle Somers; and her great grandchildren, Landon Johnson, Brooke Tate, Grayson Tate, Ava Tate, Jackson Tate, Paul Mazzochette, Louis Mazzochette and Rose Mazzochette. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
