He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Patchett and Maude Patchett; his wife Carolyn Patchett; and his siblings, Melvin L. Patchett, Robert "Bobby" Patchett and Sandy Patchett.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa C. Ibarra (Christopher); his brother Edward "Neal" Patchett; and his stepsister Donna Dixon. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
