He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Truitt and Inez Truitt; his wife Kathleen Truitt (Rey); his son Michael Truitt; and his siblings, Joe Truitt and Dorothy Rey.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Rush; his son-in-law Dave Rush; his grandson Benjamin Rush; his pets, Trixie and Annie; and his brother Alfred Truitt. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
