She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeremiah Sloane and Gladys Sloane. She is survived by: her husband Robert William Steed, Jr.; her daughters, Janet Clare DonBullian (Travis) and Sandra Ruth Bellis (Christopher); and her siblings, Elizabeth, Christina, Charles and Eric.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 1114 Baldwin Mill Rd, Jarrettsville, MD 21084. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens (200 E Padonia Rd, Timonium, MD 21093).
