It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Bates of Parkville, Maryland, who passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Jim Bates (Laura), Donna Bates, Linda Bates and Vicki Fleishell (Richard); and her brother Paul Fisher (Vera). She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
