She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hanrahan and Henrietta Hanrahan (Valiant); her son Randy Novak; and her sister Irma Linton. She is survived by: her husband Edwin Sokel; her children, Peter Novak, Eric Sokel (Anna), Brian Sokel (Tammy) and Kimberly Irwin; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Courtney (Jared), Ricky (Molly), Paris, Gavin, Shenan and Sikara.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Oak Crest Village Chapel (8820 Walther Blvd, Parkville, MD 21234). A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at the Bel Air Memorial Gardens (809 Rock Spring Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014).
