He was predeceased by: his spouse Anna Marie Brown; his child Michael Brown (Nancy); and his sibling Russell. He is survived by: his children, Darlene Ridgway (John) and Jeffrey Brown (Tammy); his siblings, June Keebler, Terry Brown (Linda), Duke, Tommy and Kitty; his grandchildren, John David Ridgway (Christina), Leigh-Anna Lupey (Ian), Kelly Brown and Michael Brown; and his great grandchild Salix Lupey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
