With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Welton Navon Pittman of Oxon Hill, Maryland, who passed away on February 20, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Welton Navon shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Welton Navon farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his children, Phyllis, Patrice, Angel Pittman (Mark) and Ronnie Carthen Sr. (Shanolia); and his brother Emanuel Pittman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Contee AME Zion Church (903 Division Ave NE, Washington, DC 20019). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
