It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel W. Chumley (Oxon Hill, Maryland), who passed away on December 27, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Naomi Pickett and George Williams, Sr. of Washington; her husband James C. Chumley (Jim); and her daughter-in-law Patricia Ann (Pat). She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Bettie Williams and Phyllis Wagner; her children, Terri Jane (Michael Hicks) and James Daniel (Danny); her grandchildren, Chuck (Kimberly Chumley), David Talbert and Valerie (Thomas Marshall); and her close friend Dee Rockwell. She is also survived by great-granddaughter and 7 rambunctious great-grandsons.
