He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his children, Vincent Nixon Sr. (Tanya) of Hurlock, Paula Taylor (Brian), Matthew Carter of Trappe, Garnet Miller (David) of Greensboro, NC, Shanelle Pinder of Greensboro, NC and Candace McFail (Olandas) of Greensboro, NC; his sister-in-law Patricia Holmes; his son-in-law Anthony Lovett; his brothers-in-law, Bradley Custis (Amy), Christopher Custis (Lola), Craig Custis (Keely) and Mark Custis (Jessica); his grandchildren, Timothy Legette, ShaNina Legette, Dennis Hardy (Keisha), Robert Stanford, LaShonda Smith (Marvin), Vincent Nixon, Jr., Victoria Spencer (Charles), Mikeshia Wilson, Danisha Legette, Vanessa Nixon, Madison Carter, David Miller, III, Elijah Miller Jalen Pinder, Maleah McFail and Julian McFail; his great grandchildren, Shanille Rollins, Alayzia Stanford, Malachi Wilson, Trinity Stanford, Kaleah Spencer, Zymier Ramirez, Zhion Wilson, Charles Spencer Jr., D'Sani Bridges, Ma'Ki Dawson, O'Maji Dawson, Jaxon Banks, Denise Hardy and Jayce Nixon; his grandson Elijah Sharp; his great grandchild Carson Pinder; and his great great grandchild Avayah Elien.
