It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Lee Smith (Owings, Maryland), born in Westernport, Maryland, who passed away on June 4, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Shoop and Mack Shoop (Richard Smith); her son Darrin Smith; and her sisters, Betty Bane and Janet Thrasher.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Wayland (David), Sherry DiLustro (Ron), Gary Smith (Jeanette) and Darryl Smith (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Shannon, David, Casey, Matthew, Lindsay, Amanda and Gary; her great grandchildren, Brooke, Kelsi, Ryder, Hudson, Ella, Remy and Kiera; and her great great grandchild Noah.
