He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Sr. and Nettie; and his siblings, Elaine and Lloyd. He is survived by: his daughter Catherine Elaine. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
