She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Gardiner and Joan Gardiner (Armacost); her stepmother Sheila; and her sister Dottie. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Hayden (Mel); her sons, Christopher (Chris) and Jeffrey (Jeff); her grandson Carter James Hayden; her sons, Chris (Terumi) and Jeff (Cassie); and her siblings, Steve, Chris, Mike, Paul, Graham, Bryan and Donna Lynn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to do so are encouraged to make a donation to the ASPCA in Theresa's name.
