“I'm so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I worked with him at the Census Bureau for many years. His sense of humor was legendary. I don't ever remember him being in a bad mood. I remember the records he used to keep in little notebooks: what he had eaten, when he had his hair cut, and of course the records of his weight. I, too, was and still am on a never-ending quest to lose weight. I only met Ann a few times but I remember he adored her. ~ Peggy Goldsmith”
