He is survived by: his children, Rodney K. Whitely, Jr. (Dorothy), Karen Dupree (David) and Kathy Allan (Dan); his sisters, Sue Carney, Karleen Davidson (Danny) and Nyla Chapman; his great grandchildren, Rodney Whitely IV, Aria Whitely, Sadie Hall, Travis Hall, Hudson, Harper Achterberg, Stella Elder, Haylie Jeffries (Carson) and Cassidie Hall Anthony Walk; and his great great grandchild Mason Jeffries. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
