He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Alford and Suzanne Alford (O'Rourke). He is survived by: his husband Rodney R. Oak; his children, Carol Lewis (Mike) and Brendan Oak (Cindy); and his grandchildren, Breanna, Danica and Michael Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
