He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Trainor and Florence Trainor; his wife Patricia; his children, Paul "P. J." Trainor Jr. and Laura "Laurie" Brown; his son-in-law Scott Brown; his aunt Blanche "Petie"; and his siblings, Emmett Trainor Jr. (late Shirley) and Jeanne Hemmer (late Donald).
He is survived by: his daughters, Tish Musselman (Patrick) of Lisa, P. J. and Lisa Kost (Rob); his daughter-in-law Lauren Trainor; his sister Anita Harrison (late Richard); and his grandchildren, Erin, Kyle (Clare), Jake, Jamie, Lindsay, Ciara, Alyssa, Ryan, Braylon and Caylee. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lee Funeral Home-Calvert (8200 Jennifer Ln, Owings, MD 20736). A Mass was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (1601 W Mount Harmony Rd, Owings, MD 20736). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Jesus the Good Shepherd Cemetery (1601 W Mount Harmony Rd, Owings, MD 20736).
