She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel B. Varndell and Phoebe L. Varndell (Gildroy); her siblings, Annabelle, James "Bud" (Geraldine), Frank (Betty), Nancy and Eula (Clarence); and her son-in-law Raymond Smith, Jr..
She is survived by: her close friend Betty; her husband William Fitzpatrick; her children, Daniel Fitzpatrick (Debra) of Millersville and Jane Smith of Owings; her grandchildren, Daniel Fitzpatrick (Laura), Devin Fitzpatrick, David Fitzpatrick (Molly), Meagan Smith and Shannon Smith (Joseph Gebicke); her great grandchildren, Riley, Jasmine, Madelyn, Brandon, Shaylee, Ryan and Brynn; her sister Phoebe Tomasek; and her siblings-in-law, Marge Fitzpatrick and Joe Fitzpatrick, Sr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home-Owings (8325 Mt Harmony Ln, Owings, MD 20736). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (1601 W Mount Harmony Rd, Owings, MD 20736).
