She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas James Garner, Jr.; her parents, William Francis Wyvill and Agnes Regina Wyvill; her stepmother Eunice B. Wyvill; her sisters, Connie Harris and Sandra Wyvill; her son-in-law Dexter Payne; her brother-in-law Matthew Harris; her nephew Gregory Harris; her parents-in-law, Tom and Blanche Garner; her sister Annabelle; and her brother-in-law Jerry Buchanan.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas James Garner, III, Deborah Agnes Dillard (Bill), Mary Renee Baden (Paul), Brenda Ann Payne and Sharon Lynn Bookwalter (Robert); and her siblings, Frankie Wyvill (Donna), Maria Jackson (George), Robert Wyvill (Winnie) and Sylvia Baird (Kenny). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, or St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church (Upper Marlboro).
