She is survived by: her parents, Deborah Ann Whitehead and John Louis Whitehead; her sister Linda Maurie Powell; her brother-in-law Douglas Powell; her children, Deborah Christine Lankford and Robert Bowie Lankford III; and her grandchildren, Molly Ann Lankford, Christian John Lankford and Elizabeth Lee Lankford. She is also survived by cousins, aunts and uncles.
