He is survived by: his aunt Mabel; his children, John Sands, Jr. (Kimverly) of Owings, Maryland, Vicki Sullivan (Danny) of Cheltenham, Maryland, Karen Sands of Lothian, Maryland and Patricia Quattrone (Frank) of Castle Rock, Colorado; his grandchildren, Michelle Sands-Kortie, Jamie Ferrer (Travis), Tiffany Sands (Andrew Irving), Brandi Quattrone, Frank Quattrone (Anna), Ashley Trubiano (Anthony), Joshua Sullivan (Emily) and Samantha Sands (John Pearson); and his great grandchildren, Cody Kortie, Lexia Kortie, Elsia Sands, Colton Ferrer, Tyler Stevens, Lennon Irving, Danica Quattrone, Aria Quattrone, Frank Quattrone, Aspen Quattrone, Toni Mae Trubiano, Luca James Trubiano, Lily Heppe and Mason Heppe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
