He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nicholas Graner Sr. and Thelma Ireland Graner; and his siblings, George Graner, Jackie Smith and Joe Graner.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Jean Forrest; his sister Jane Patterson; his children, James Graner and Sondra Graner-Oxendine; and his grandchildren, Bridget Graner, Daniel Graner, Gavin Oxendine and Ronon Oxendine. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
