He is survived by: his wife J'Anne Lavin; his children, Rebecca Lee and James Lavin, II; his sister Traci Lavin; his aunt Margaret Calvert (Lavin); and his uncle Gerald Croston. He is also survived by brother and sister in laws, and many nieces and nephews.
