He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Arthur and Anne Carolyne Bush; his stepmother Florence Genevieve Jeske; and his son Charles Scott Arthur. He is survived by: his wife Jane Ellen Arthur; and his children, Sydnee Sue Hill (Terry Hill) of Waldport, James E. Arthur (Debra Arthur) of Owings, Judy Arthur Rawlings of Clinton and John F. Arthur (Barbara Arthur) of North Beach. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
