It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Patricia Abell (Owings, Maryland), born in Chaptico, Maryland, who passed away on April 25, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Zachariah Hayden and Clara Elaine Mattingly; and her siblings, Charles Llewyn, Sophia Adele and Perry Hayden.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda (Gerry), Robin (Tom), Debra (Jimmy) and Susan (Mike); her sister Mary Frances "Mankie" Trumwell (Bobby); and her grandchildren, David, James, Tiffany, Brian, Justin, Joel, Ashley, Gary, Shelby, Wil, Christopher and Matthew. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
