He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Padgett; his sister Kathleen Burnett (Padgett); and his parents, Bascombe and Katherine (Wayson). He is survived by: his wife Helen "Marlene" Padgett (King); his sons, Michael and Stephen Padgett (Kellie); his brother Robert Padgett; and his grandchildren, Racheal, Haven, Shaylin, Ethan and Sean.
