She was predeceased by: her daughter Shelly Dansky; and her parents, Gita Lauer and Leo Lauer. She is survived by: her husband Edward Kourt; her daughter Mindy Benhamou (Jacob); and her grandchildren, Jacob Schwarzmeier, Alex Benhamou (Amy), Jaime Benhamou and Maya Benhamou.
