He is survived by: his children, David Wayne Shultz (Elizabeth) and Thomas Edward Shultz (Deborah); his granddaughters, Melissa Battis (Tim) and Amanda Shultz; his great grandchildren, Naomi, Titus and Matthias Battis; and his sister Barbara Hansen.
