He was predeceased by: his wife Sonia Schindler. He is survived by: his children, Randi Buergenthal (John) and Joel Schindler (Janet); his siblings-in-law, Rita Malin (Jerald) and Bernard Raynor (late Bernice); his grandchildren, Eliza Buergenthal, Chloe Buergenthal, Lindsey Schindler, Hayden Schindler and Josh Schindler (Debra); and his great grandchild Isaac Shane Schindler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
