He was predeceased by: his wife Yanette Hollander; his son Steven Hollander; his brother Irvin Hollander; his parents, Sarah Hollander and Joseph Hollander; and his sisters-in-law, Ida Hollander and Betty Hollander.

He is survived by: his sons, Kerry Hollander (Mary Jo) and Jon Hollander (Bara); his daughter-in-law Linda Hollander; his brother Alvin Hollander; and his grandchildren, Marlene Hollander, Aaron Hollander (Shira), Stacy Fuld (Judah), JB Hollander (Katie Fink), Ryan Hollander, Kevin Hollander (Brittany), Eric Hollander (Jacqueline), Andrew, Megan and Matthew Hollander. He is also survived by many loving great-grandchildren.
