He was predeceased by: his wife Thalia Resnick; his sister Beverly Stappler (Laurence); his grandson Jordan Resnick; and his parents, Louis Resnick and Esther Resnick.

He is survived by: his children, Mark Resnick (A. J. Hora), Beth Levitt (Ted), Wayne Resnick (Kim) and Fran Albert (Michael); his brother Yale Resnick (Barbara); his daughter-in-law Ruth Resnick; his grandchildren, Erin Resnick, Scott Levitt (Heather Hooper), Lauren Carey (Meaghan), Shannon Askinasi (Jay), Eric Resnick (Arden), Steven Albert, Sami Albert and Gerry Brooks; and his great grandchildren, Devin, Sage, Perri Askinasi, Landen, Joey, Graham Resnick, Ayden Carey and Tenley Hooper.
