He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard Worthington and Ida McFall Thompson; his siblings, Tommy (Katherine), Paul (Ruth), Clarence, Danny (Dolly), Micky (Annabelle), Otis (Billie), Ducky (Flo), Margaret Long (Wilbur), Ethel Morrison (Fred) and Dorothy Bay (Bob); his children, Timothy Mark (Ruth) and Patricia Driever (David); his wife Ruth Sophia Diem; his sisters, Grace Dritt (Dave) and Shirley Thompson; his children, Harry Jr. (Dawn) and Jackie Tangires (Charlie); his grandchildren, Heather Seda, Sarah Hooper (Kyle), Jesse, Harry III, Corey, Brandon, Amanda Driever, Tim, Jenna Tangires, Ashley Coe (Tommy) and Robby Barnard; his great grandchildren, Josh Wotring, Katy Overby and Clementine Hooper; and his children, Reisterstown and Owings Mills. He was also cherished by 41 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or American Heart Association, in honor of his deceased children.
